Connected Trails

The lifestyle change that comes with parental separation or divorce is without question a difficult transition for adolescents. Adjusting to the new life can feel overwhelming, lonely, and confusing just to name a few experiences.

This group for adolescents is not therapy but can certainly be therapeutic. The foundation of the group will focus on relationships where participants can expect to learn about connection, attunement, rupture and repair, communication, requests, and pressure. Participants will receive hands on experience using important principles of relationships that can help them adjust to the challenges of their parent's separation or divorce. There is no riding at the ranch, all the work is done on the ground. Group will be facilitated by Lupe Garcia, LPC and DeAnna Keller, LPC Associate and equine professional. The group is limited to four participants.
